Turn Signal ?

I have a 97 Blazer. The blinkers don't come on at the corners or on the dash, but the hazards flash. Am I in for the dreaded multi-function switch, or is there something else I can check? Is the flashing module the same for the hazards and turn signals?

Re: Turn Signal ?

Maybe. Why is it dreaded? It's actually pretty easy to clean the switch. Check your fuses and connections. Check out this thread if you decide you want to clean it.

Re: Turn Signal ?

I just don't like the price, and one thread stated concern of the air bad deploying.

Thanks alot for the link. My feeble use of the search button didn't link me there. I'll try that first.

I cleaned the switch on my kids Grand Am. Took maybe 1hr or so including removal and reinstall. I was being careful.

As for the air bag- the sensors are in the bumper so there isn't too much to be concearned with. Just disconnect the neg battery cable first.
