Radio Adaptor Question

I have a 94 deville , I put in an aftermarket stereo but the adaptor kit doesnt fit right it was the recommended one but still i think its for later model devilles , because my trim will not go on , its a petra 99-2004 kit thats the part number . . . Has anyone heard of another kit out there or ghetto rigged another model to make this work and look decent ... Any help is appreciated thanks

Uhhh dude, you answered your own question. Your car is a 1994 but bought a kit for a 1999 to 2004. Well obviously its for a later model.

I also put thats the part number .... Not the years of cars for the kit .....

Yeah it might be a part # but I'm willing to bet that that kit is for later model Cadillacs (i.e. 99 to 2004). Maybe that company decided to make the part #'s the same as the years that it fits.
Just out of curiosity where did you buy this kit from? And let me go ahead and ask the obvious, have you gone back to see if you can find a different kit made for different (older) Cadillacs?
