1966 Rambler 770 Vin Question

I am in the process of trying to title a 1966 Classic 770 Rambler. I need to report the VIN # and Motor #.... I Think I have the VIN, but it is only 13 characters.(A6KA55G118578) Is this correct # ??? And I found 2 numbers on the motor. (CWC 3181884 or GWG 3181884) and (D56T11) Which ones do I use? Thanks for any input......

Re: 1966 Rambler 770 Vin Question

From the 1966 Rambler Classic owner's manual:

The engine code will be on the lifter galley, on a clearly visible smooth rectangular pad, about halfway between the distributor and the front of the block. Those numbers are stamped down into the pad.

yes, that's the correct nuber of charactors in the vin. it was 1980 when auto makers started using 17 charactors in vin numbers.
