I drive a 99 Jimmy and it came with a factory installed security system. It is very unique from anything I have seen. I have a small card attached to my keychain that I must swipe under the steering column before starting the car. If I do not do this I get power to the car but the engine will not turn over. My car would not start the other day and I took it to a shop and they said it was the security system not reading the card properly. Does anyone know how I can disable this system? the mechanics said they didnt know how to do it.
Help please! |
