Air through vents after A/C is turned off
I use my wife's '01 SL1 to drive to work out of town and I noticed that cold air will continue to seep through the vents after the A/C is shut off. However, while the A/C was still off, I pressed the recirculation switch (so it would be off, too) and a vaccuum line iside the dash whistled, and the airflow ceased. Is that normal? Does the recirculation really need to be shut off in order for no air to enter the passenger compartment while the system is completely shut off? I figured that the vents should all shut closed once the main A/C system is turned off. Thanks in advanced for the input!

Re: Air through vents after A/C is turned off
On my 96, I need to shut the system off while recirc is still on to block airflow through the vents.

Re: Air through vents after A/C is turned off
Alright, sounds like a normal running system. Thanks!
