Angry side door won't open

please help I can't get the driver sliding side door open on my 1999 caravan, took door panel of but can't see what the problem is please could someone help. almost ready to scrap it back door same thing

Howdy! I once had the same problem and it turned out to be the interlock on the fuel door.

I suspect the fuel door switch, too. I just went out and looked at mine and don't see where the switch on the fuel door is. I see it inside the side door, but not at the fuel door.

If you're anything like me, you have a long standing professional relationship with a body shop. I would take the car to them and ask if the repair is a do-it-yourself job. They might tell you how to fix it. The last two times I did that they fixed it while I waited. Total time for both repairs was less than 20 minutes, so it depends on how much they like you (and expect you to bring future work) and how hard it is to fix.
