Re: Saw IV

I'm not a fan of any modern horror films cause they're usually either hillarious or just bloody with no real story. However, Saw has a good premise and creative deaths. The whole storyline of the guy who trained the girl who he had to kill and then he died (or whatever) can be confusing but I can still dig it. I can't remember what exactly happened to the guy at te end of 3 but I thought he was officially dead? Maybe I 'll watch it tonight... I "borrowed" it from Movie Gallery while I was working there

Re: Saw IV

^Ditto, I go to horror movies these days for fun or cheap thrills (as in scaring my g/f when things jump out) Other than that, there's always "borrowing" it when it comes out on DVD.

Re: Saw IV

The wife and I have been to the other three Saw movies on opening night and we are doing the same tonight. Its become our Halloween ritual. Saw 5-6 are being filmed at the same time to save money. The movies are not anything great to say the least, but its fun.

Re: Saw IV

Saw 3 is the only one I own. I actually watched it just for fun a few weeks ago before I even knew 4 was about to come out, so I should be good. Unlike when I went into Lord of the Rings 3 without having seen either of the first two. I spent half the movie asking my friend what the hell they were talking about and why that wierd troll was stalking those midgets... now I own all 3

Re: Saw IV

I just came back from the movie. It was pretty good, but I know I won't fully nderstand all the details without watching it at least two more times (which is exactly what they want). I'm still trying to piece it all together in my mind but it seems like the Saw series has to be watched all over again before you watch te next movie or else you won't understand. Anybody who didn't see (or doesn't remember) 3 will be lost at the end. I would love to see the events of the entire series plotted out on a timeline by the writer(s)
