Spark Plug Socket Boot

Spark Plug Socket Boot
Hello Friends,

I am in need of the rubber boot that is located inside of a spark plug socket. Do you know where I can purchase these rubber boots? If not, could you direct me to a supplier?

Thank You

Re: Spark Plug Socket Boot

Spark plug sockets are pretty cheap... why not buy a new socket?

Otherwise, you could modify some rubber hose (ie, 3/8 inch vacuum line or similar) glued in place. You may have to trim the hose size to fit the socket snugly but still hang on to the plug.

Re: Spark Plug Socket Boot

Those boots are molded to fit the socket they are going to be put in, since everyone makes their own individual tweaks to sockets to make them their own you are going to have a hard time finding the boot for yours. Even the Craftsman line from Sears slightly changes their stuff from year to year.

As MagicRat said they are cheap, just go buy a new one.
