ecm fuse blows
Hello, anyone have any problems with ecm fuse blowing only when i make a left turn and give it gas 93 4x4 sonoma ext cab vortec cpi. thanks frank [email protected], any one know what circuits will cause an ecm fuse to blow to begin with???

What engine code?
There is 5 different ones ! And what ECM fuse? ECM-1 or ECM-B MT

Sounds like you may have a bare wire coming into contact with metal.
Look at and feel the full length of all the wire looms on both sides of the engine. Look for any wires that may be burnt due to coming into contact with the exhaust manifold or the engine block. |

Thank you guys for all your help, the problem was under the right side dash below the plastic panel where the main harness goes into the engine compt through the rubber grommett, on the engine bay side. the bundle of wires was rubbing a head bolt and was grounding against it. Thats why I couldnt figure why when I made a left turn and torqued the engine the fuse blew but not any other time, it also appears that a weak drivers side engine mount and the harness too close to the engine were also contributing factors, again thank you guys so much, this place is a great site. I hope this may help others in the future.
