Need Suspension Help Please Look.......

1996 Honda Civic Dx
d16y7 5 speed
Has 99-00 Si Front end Conversion
Problem:

I want to lower my car and I want to put into consideration on the quality.
I have gsr Fat fives on it now sitting on stock suspension. Well I was looking to lower my car with the Eibach Pro-Kit lowering springs and the AGX Struts(1.5 Front, 1.3 Rear). Well I found a good price on some Eibach Sportline Springs(1.8 Front, 1.8 Rear).I am also going to use the AGX struts if I get the Sportlines. Now the problem that I run into is that I am going to be getting 17 inch rims soon and Want to know if they are going to rub and or the front lip scrapping the curb or anything in the process of usng tha sportline springs and or the pro-kit. The tires on the 17's are 215/40/R17. Is the ride on the sportlines good or bad and would I be much happier with the Pro-kit more then the sportlines but I want my car to have a mean look along with riding very well. Please tell me what you think about this set up . Thanks ....Please do not bash thread ................................................
Here are pics of the rims.....[/IMG]

idk man id personally stay with the fat fives on it..im not a big fan of 17's but maybe thats cuz i never buy them lol..and instead of springs why not go with coilovers?? so then when you get different wheels you can adjust them up?

Re: Need Suspension Help Please Look.......

Thats the thing. I don't want coilovers. Im not a big fan of coilovers I had them on my 92 Eagle talon. They were nice but I just rather have the lowewring springs. I said I wasn't going to do big rims on my civic but I found a nice set that will fit the car just right for the way I want it according to style but like i said I want to lower and Idk about the sportline drop and the wheel rubbing

I have H&R sport (1.75F and 1.5R) and AGX. When I had 17's with 205 they rubbed sometimes. But I switched to 15x7 and rolled the fenders and no more rub, but with 17's you should be ok or just a slight fender roll will fix it.
