How to identify engine

i have a friend with a 94 acura integra but he doesn't know which model. He's thinking it's the GS-R, but I don't know how to tell the difference other than I would assume VTEC to be written somewhere if it was. Is there some easy way to figure out which one it is? Thanks!

Re: How to identify engine

While standing in front of vehicle with hood open. look towards left side of
engine block. If it is a gsr it will have a stamp with b18c1 in engine block.
also look to see if there is a emblem on the right rear below trunk, if it is
a gsr it will have a silver emblem with dohc vtec. last look at the instrument
cluster and see what the redline is. gsr's have a redline of 8k rpms.
