f150 2x4 hums when braking slowly(front driver's side)

My 2000 f150 front drivers side wheel hums when I am typically going from high to low speed, but it only does it when I am coming to a stop slowly. I can jam on the brakes , and it does not do it. The tire is balanced, and there is no apparent uneven wear. I repacked the bearing the other day, and the problem seems like it is getting worse. The races looked fine, and there was still plenty of grease left in it before I repacked. If anyone could offer up a suggestion, I would greatly appreciate it.

Did you check the brake rotors, a slight warpage could be the culprit, sometimes you can feel it in the pedal. I have also had a problem similar in the rear of an old Tempo that I had, everything seemed fine but after replacing bearings and races the problem was fixed.
