Can anybody tell me... I have a 2001 2500HD with the 6.0 in it... does that engine have a "mass intake"?? And also... can anybody tell me where the coolant temp sensor is located??

yes, you have a MAF Sensor. Mass Air Flow Sensor.. it is located just after the air filter.

You Coolent Temp Sensor is located on the engine block near the water pump. Just follow the lower radiator hose to the engine.. Pull off the hose and there it is.

Ok. I followed the hose, and it looks like the sensor is on the top of the engine block correct?? Reason being, I need to splice in an "adapter" I have, and I want to make sure it's the right set of wires.

I am curious, what kind of adaptor are you adding on?

It's a fuel consumption adapter... supposed to decrease the "fuel intake" or improve MPG's. Something I thought I'd try... my friend is using it and has good luck with it, so I thought I'd order one and try.
