Valve Seal O-ring

I just replaced the Valve Seals on my 1994 Silverado, I put the o-rings in the grooves but when I double checked the # 2 intake valve, to be sure I did put the posi lock on, I noticed the o-ring was below the groove. I guess when I put the keeper on I pushed it down, SO my question is, Will the o-ring slide back in the groove when the valve goes down?

Re: Valve Seal O-ring

You need to put the valve spring and top on THEN the O-ring
then the keepers, in that order or they'll keep rolling off.

i just did this a week ago and had the same problem..
