96 talon automatic trans problem

my daughter has a 96 talon automatic will not go into reverse any ideas on what i can look at, works fine in all drive gears.. thanks

Reverse is probably shot. When was the last time the fluid/filter was changed?

I am not sure, probably been a while, do you think that could possibly be the problem?
