Power steering flush

Just wondering how to flush my power steering. The fluid is nice and dark dark brown so I figured it is probably about time to clean it out.
I have a 94 gtp. It has 240000 k on it so im not sure if flushing it is a good idea or not.

Re: Power steering flush

Unless you had a catastrophic rack and pinion or pump failure tha tallowed metallic particles in the system, I see no reason to flush the fluid. You could try using a turkey baster to suck the fluid from the reservoir, then replace what you took out if it's really that nasty. Doing a flush, you're risking getting air in the system, which can be a pain to get out.
