Front door panel speakers

ok.... Infinity system AM/FM CD and tape player combo. All work fine EXCEPT the two front door panel speakers. Tweeters on the top of the front door....center dash... rear deck all work. The two front door panel speakers..lots of static and very fuzzy..and very little volume. Im thinking the amp on this 2000 LHS is in the passenger front kick panel...i'm not sure. Is there a fuse in this amp..and would that fuse affect only the door panel speakers...? I havent tried new speakers...they both went out at the same time coincidentally (strange)....and ive heard where others have said its not the speakers....but possibly the radio itself. Doesnt seem likely tho...because all other speakers work fine...lots of volume etc. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Re: Front door panel speakers

Those particular front door speakers are the weakest link in the stereo system. The grill easily pops off where you can check the speakers. I agree that it would be totally random they both blew, but it is the easiest thing to check for first. If they by chance are blown there are some much better replacements than the stock ones.
