bleeding clutch system

I have a friend who has a 98 S10 he is having some clutch issues. Trans wont go into gear at times. We opened the master cyl cap and found dirty fluid. Before he takes everything apart is wanting to know if there is anyway to bleed the hydraulics to flush them. Also is there a special tool to get the line off of the slave cyl and if so where can you get one. Thanks in advance.

Re: bleeding clutch system

There is a bleeder on slay cylinder.
Try the foot pump bleed and the try the gravity bleed.
Yes there is a line release tool.
Some times a tool comes with a new slay cylinder or a parts place should have one.
