1999 3.4 right CV axle stuck

I am trying to replace the right CV joint. I have the hub, tie-rod, and ball joint disassembled. How do I get the joint out. AllData say to use a slide hammer with an attachment that looks like a horseshoe. What is the best way to get the joint out.

Thanks!

A flat end pry bar behind the inner joint will pop it out, careful of the axle seal though.
