96 vr4 vs 91 talon tsi.....?

ok so this kid is talkin shit about saying how my car is shit and what not, im gonna race him but i wanna know what u guys think would win, now he "says" he has a 16g turbo pushin 24lbs making like 380 at the wheels or some shit, now my car is basicly stock other than mbc set at about 14 and an intake. what do u guys think? i give him credit for having a fast car bc ik it is but in a race from a stop i wanna know what u guys think. on the highway ik id win easly bc he tops at 130 lol.

Some people exaggerate but if he really does have 380 at the wheels he should be able to beat you due to him having more power and a lighter car. Assuming he can keep his crank on a leash until the race I think he would win.

If he does have a 16 and is running 24 psi he would crush you in the 1/4. Thats a 11 second capable setup if hes got the fuel and IC setup right. As for topping at 130, the 5 speeds will run out to about 140ish before rev limit. 5th is so damn short. Well all the gears are short. 5th gear 80 mph is like 4k rpms.

Crank walk wasnt an issue in 91.

yeah he would probably take you.. as much as i hate to say it.. get a safc2 and some 450 injectors and you would be a lot closer.. let me know if your interested..

ok why would he want to race you if he has 380 hp to the wheels and you are basically stock that’s like a person on steroids getting in a fight with some one who works out like once a week and is still over weight. I suggest you throw some n2o on your car before you get your a** handed to you. I hope you were not egging him on when he was talking shit... because unless you mod your car to beat him it's going to make you look like an a** and make the whole 3s community look bad hell lot of people already hate 3/Ss don't need more hating them.

Yeah.. you deffenetly do not want to add N02 to your car that would be a bad idea.. unless you get a fuel controller.. and pump and injectors..
he turned his boost up to 14 psi already.. the reason he cant take it higher is cause he runs out of fuel.. so if he runs stock boost he could handle n02..

and I don't mind people dogging on 3000gt cause most likly I can get money from them.. hehehe

your in luck.. haha I have 450cc blacktope duel spray injectors I am selling and I was thinking about keeping the SAFC2 but I am not sure.. I am sure we can work out somthing for a good deal for you.. as far as the pump I will have to do a little searching but should be able to work somthing out..
