Re: help window wont go up
The window shouldn't cost you too much 100-200 range, haha if you ask me? I suggest you get a new car and pray it doesn't rain in the meantime.

Re: help window wont go up
could just be some wires that were loosened in the fender bender. Take off the door panel and check it out.

Re: help window wont go up
Sometimes you can still hear clicking, even though the window isn't working. I have found after minor accidents power windows can get jammed. I've fixed some by taking off the panel and really smacking the back of the motor while holding the button to go down(if up) or up (if down).
If you don't hear any clicking, there could be a short or broken wire. Depending on how bad the accident was. You'll have to see if there's still power to the motor with a meter, and if there is, then see if there's something jamming the window. Like I said, I've gotten some to work that I hear click by really hitting the motor, or right behind where it it on the door, really hard. Good luck. |
