99 Sebring JXI Convertable
2.5 liter. This is probably a stupid question but how do you get to the 3 rear spark plugs to change them out?

Re: 99 Sebring JXI Convertable
Just did it weekend before last. You have to remove the intake manifold. It's the 7 bolts you see on top, then one on each end. Take off the throttle and cruise control cables and the EGR tube. Unplug the different sensors, the vacuum line on the right rear and take it off. Use a new gasket when reassembling. Mine had 102k miles on her. Took the opportunity to put new cap, rotor, and wires on too.

Re: 99 Sebring JXI Convertable
Thanks for the reply. Does the intake have any torque specifications or tightening sequence? SJ

Re: 99 Sebring JXI Convertable
13 ft-lbs for each of the 7 bolts you see securing the upper manifold. I didn't have a torque pattern. I tightened in 3 steps (6, 9, and 13) from the center out in both directions.
