2000-1500 silverado 4X4 Problem...HELP !

I can't seem to get my silverado to shift back into 2Hi from 4Lo,no lights on the selector swithch's are light up, any and all info will be greatly appreciated......

Sounds like your Shift Mode Switch has gone bad. Try pressing the 2hi and 4hi buttons at the same time, this will work sometime.

encoder motor?
or internal gear damage like mine.....but I had problems going form 4hi to 4 lo

I had same problem, I removed switch from dash and opened it. soldered the joints as I was told there was a issue with cold solder joint. Problem gone.
