86 Mazda 626 LX Turbo 4 dr.

Would like your feelings on this Mazda I picked up for a $1.00.

Body shows some rust, perticular around passenger side rear wheel opening.
Interior basicly perfect and nice red color. Surprised on how well loaded it is, Suspension settings (sport/norma/auto), sunroof, etc. Believe only heated seats missing, I'm surprised for an 86 Mazda, has more options than my 86 Merecedes 300E.

Here is the big question, Believe the car has 176,000 or 1,176,000(unrealistic) and engine was rebuilt 30,000 km ago and head gasket gone. Oil and antifreeze still look clear. Car has new exhaust system and tires next to new. Curious about the tires--- believe 205/65R15 mounted on Mazda Alloys. They really fill the wheel openings. Would this be a stock size???

Would you spend the money to fix the head gastket. Seems from various sites this would be a great car to drive with it's power and fuel mileage.

Wondering if your tires are not original size as mine are 205/65R15 mounted on Mazda Alloys. Or if your in U.S. of A. I recently sold it for 500.00 as emergency cables frozen, need rotor and etc on passenger size and could not afford to justify repairs. Sure would buy another one if found in great condition. Lovely driving machine.
