Sparetire
I have an '89 Geo Tracker hardtop. The rear door is a one piece door and opens from left to right. What is the largest size tire that I can mount on the spare tire bracket?
I am running "235-75-15" tires. This size tire is to heavy and large to mount on the spare tire bracket that is mounted on the rear door. What works for you??? Thanks, Sully2030 |

Re: Sparetire
Try reversing it. Alternatively throw it in the basket on your roof rack. Reinforce your hood (bonnet) and mount it there, a la 1950's Land Rover. Fold up/remove the back seat and carry it inside. Trust to luck and leave it at home. Carry a smaller spare and drive carefully after a flat, a la the donuts most cars come with these days. Get another tire/wheel set and run them as dualies on the rear. Finally, convert the tracker to a hovercraft and get rid of all your tires.
