Air compressor working?

Hi, the rear end of the car is sitting on the frame now. I bought a new compressor a few months ago because the old one was making a noise. How do I test the compressor to see if it is working or not? It does not seem to be working to me. the car had no leaks or anything like that it was working fine a couple of days ago.

How to tell if compressor is working?

thanks

Re: Air compressor working?

ck, I jumped started the compressor right from the battery. It runs strong but it does not raise the rear end up at all. I hear no leaks or any thing. If I plug it in the right way it does not work at all.

Is the pump still good and why does it not pump up the rear of the car?

Thanks

Re: Air compressor working?

Ok, If i run a positive wire from the battery right to the compressor plug in and push the plugs together the compressor runs and the rear end goes up.

So does that mean the compressor relay is not working?

I got the car up and I turned the suspension off in the trunk so I can drive the car.

Re: Air compressor working?

I'm no expert on Conti suspensions, it sounds to me like a height sensor isn't doing it's job.

BTW, thanks for posting all your progress
