Aoshima Lexus or Mercedes S class

Aoshima has released a previous generation Toyota Celsior/Lexus LS430. See link. If they can do this, and the many aftermarket spawns, why can't they produce a good S class model (stock, AMG, and aftermarket)? Tigeraid?

It appears that the item description doesn't match the car pictured

Yeah, the picture is wrong, but its the stock Celsior/LS. If they are so keen on doing stock and variants of luxury sedans, they should produce an S class, especially since they are just as popular in Japan.

I agree; I think Aoshima would be interested because they would then be able to do the various tuned versions of said stock vehicles. Of all the kits I've gotten rid of lately, I choose to keep my VIP sedans from Aoshima due to their uniqueness and originality.

Yes, I agree also. If only Aoshima would listen to people who really buy these kits and know that is what we want. Not just japanese luxury but Mercedes, BMW or even V-Series Cadillacs of now days.

German luxury cars are very popular in Japan, aren't they? I'm sure stock/AMG/Lorinser/Brabus/etc. variants would do well.

Re: Aoshima Lexus or Mercedes S class

Agreed, Plus there is nothing etched in stone stating VIP cars are only japanese cars. I'm sure a kitted Mercedes over there is considered as a VIP. I have purchased "Genroq" magazine a few times and have seen some Benzes listed as VIP and that is a japanese magazine. It's just when we buy Aoshima kits, Japanese cars are the only thing sold by them. Maybe Tamiya can catch this hint and start making these kits since they have the best build quality anyway.
