tranny problem
I need help. I have a 2001 Integra with a b16a engine and a 5 speed hydrolic transmission. When you shift into 5th, it slips out into neutral in seconds and WILL NOT stay in 5th. Can this be fixed??? Or do I need a new tranny???

Re: tranny problem
your trannys fucked. although a new clutch and a rebuild should make it fine.

Re: tranny problem
It can be fixed but would be cheaper to source another used tranny.

Re: tranny problem
i wouldnt go jumping to conclusions about a new tranny, i had this same problem with my tranny... all it was.. the bolt that connects the shifter to the linkage was too tight (i just installed a short throw) i put a washer in it and loosend it up a tad with some lock tite... BAM it was fixed
