Quiz time....with rewards.

To test the ultimate knowledge of all the F1 fans hear on the forum, I shall post a quiz question every weekend towards december. When and if he wishes to repeat his yuletide quiz, Mr Bridger can take over.

After last weekends quiz picture, which Greg answered really quickly. (F1 superfan)

There will be an F1 related prize for the first person to answer the question correctly. As Greg can testify, the prize was of great interest.

This time I have thought of a really hard question.

In the two pictures below (taken by Erik inside the cockpit of #068) are the two banks of control knobs and push button switches, positioned either side of the steering wheel.

This is question 2:- Which company made the hazard warning and rear fog light push button switches and in which OEM vehicle were they used in.

Seeing as they used BMW stalks, I guess the buttons you list must be off a Euro car, possibly BMW or something British?

They look very similar to ford to me, am sure I have seen seen them in an old Orion? But they are probably not.

Is it a trick question? Are they bespoke McLaren and would the OEM vehicle you speak of be the F1?

Yes OEM car mnfr.

Half the question is easy, Carbuilder was on the right track with his second answer. The other half is the tricky part.

There will be alot of when you know the answer.

Well the wing mirror switch is vectra so am going for vectra / omega
