The brake of my 95' camry feels soft and loose. I go to pepboy, they said I need to change the master cylinder, and ask for $350+labor. I think that is much more than i expectrunaround , and they said they could not do it on Friday( I don't know why)
Is that really cost that much?? how about any other shops?? Thanks! and waiting!

Re: How much if I need to change the Master Cylinder?
Call around to a few independent shops yourself and ask for a price to replace your master cylinder. Tell them you want the price including the parts and the labor. The only additional part besides the master cylinder should be some brake fluid. Be prepared to tell them which engine your car has; I4 or V6.

Re: How much if I need to change the Master Cylinder?
Have you tried or had someone flush your brake lines and bleed your brakes recently? maybe as simple as that...
