1993 3.8L Air Purge

How do you go about purging air from the cooling system? I know there is a bleeder on top of the block. Do you fill from there or do you fill from the radiator? Thanks

Re: 1993 3.8L Air Purge

take the fill plug out (its a 1/2" bolt) and fill up your radiator. plug it back up, and start the car until you get into closed loop... then top off teh radiator and overflow tank.

are you overheating? loosing coolant? white smoke from the exhaust? i thought it was air in my system, but turned out to be the notorious headgaskets.
