2000 intake manifold
is there as much problem with the 2000 and newer models as there were on the 94-99's? ive lost a little bit of coolant, but it could be from a small leak i saw. even though im a little low, the level hasnt changed in 2000 miles.

Re: 2000 intake manifold
Some but not as much as the '95-'98 SII 3800 engines. Common problem is not the plastic UIM with EGR stovepipe damage but the UIM gasket. Since you have visually confirmed a leak then that might explain any coolant loss. Where exactly is the coolant leak?

Re: 2000 intake manifold
guess i should have mentioned that the leak looks like it may be from the drain cock instead of near or around the manifold
