2000 Ford Windstar Driver side seat not workin
Hi all,
I have a 2000 Ford Windstar and the driver side power seat just stopped Working. Both the 8 directional controls and the lumbar device stopped Working at the same time. I had read on here about other people’s seat problems And saw where it might be fuse number 104 under the hood. But these fuses are Different that most. They are square tubular type of fuses. I ‘m not Sure how to tell if it’s blown or not. And also most people just has a problem with just the directional Or the lumbar, not with both. Any help would be great, Thanks, Bill |

Re: 2000 Ford Windstar Driver side seat not workin
Someone else will most likely answer better..If all controls are not working it very well may be that fuse. NAPA may have the replacement not sure if Advance Auto or Autozone carry them.. My seat makes a load noise when going back but sound ok moving up. So I am chasing down my issue now..

Re: 2000 Ford Windstar Driver side seat not workin
Hopefully it's just the fuse. Mine went out recently as well and it was the switch on the seat. The switch is in two parts that clip together and can become disconnected, especially when you have small kids that like to use it as a step. Mine went back together easily once I took it out and epoxied it for good measure. If you end up having to get at the switch there was a past post that had good details on removing the trim piece the switch is attached to.

Re: 2000 Ford Windstar Driver side seat not workin
i had the same problem- its fusable link #104. they call it a fusable link so they can charge $4.00 for a fuse --- if you change it and it works but it blows again, its due to the wireing harness geting pinched and shorting.
