idle air control
can someone tell me how to clean idle air control, i have it off the throttle body, am i supposed to take spring out or just spray cleaner on it

Do not disassemble it, clean the shaft and the pintle, with throttle body cleaner.

Be certain to retract the pintle fully against the spring to prevent damage upon installation. Of course, the previously "dead" IAC (sluggish action) worked fine after disassembly and cleaning.
