Need some help

Well i have a 1986 chevy S10 with a 2.8 4wd My question is i dont know how to work the 4wd.I have never messed with the 4wd.So somebody could help me out and tell me how to work it.It would be great.

Floor shift or push button?

Rule no one is do not run in 4W on dry payment.
Rule no 2 is to keep tires and rear end ratios matched up.
Rule no 3 only shift to 4W high at low speed or stopped.
Rule no 4 stop before shifting into 4W low.
Rule no 5 when shifting back to 2W or from low to high 4W you should stop and sometimes back up a little to take the bind off of 4W to get it to shift easy.

And as always check the lube in transfer case and for leakage when servcing truck.
