1999 Chevy Venture Power Sliding Door Cable Tension Adjustment?

I am having trouble getting my passenger side power sliding door to work on my 1999 Venture van. It starts to open (just a tiny bit) but will not open all the way when using the power operation button. I think I have narrowed this down to a matter of adjusting the tension on the cables that control the door, however, the procedure laid out in my Haynes repair manual is unclear about how exactly to accomplish this task. Does anyone out there know how precisely to do this? Also, where could I get a routing diagram for the cables and how they are routed through the door and body? PLEASE HELP ASAP! Thanks!
