Thumbs up Re: where is the crankshaft sensor on a 1999 clio?

Hi Ian,

You best bet is to pick up a Haynes Manual, you can get them from Halfords or similar shop - sometimes they are unrapped and you can use it like a library

A lot of things changed across the Clio models, but I think mine is on the side of the bell housing, but is hidden by something like the air filter and all its boxing...

I do find the H Manual really helpful though I gotta say, gives you a much better idea if you'll be able to do the job yourself with its little spanner key guide by every job description.

Good luck
