brake fluid in power steering

I accidently put brake fluid where my power steering fluid should go. Will this do any damage to my van?

Re: brake fluid in power steering

I would suck it out with a turkey baster. If you have run the engine since the fopa, suck the reservoir dry, refill, drive it around, repeat 3-4 times. Putting the wrong fluid in can weaken seals creating leaks and decrease the life of effected components. The sooner you correct it the better.
