Is a 31x10.5 to large for a 15x7 stock rim?

I was told i would fit but not recomended, or should i go with a 15x8 rim? But the problem there lies in the offset, changing from the 7" - 8" Is this that big of a problem and if so how do i fix this?

It will fit quite nicely. Some tire dealers will balk at mounting them on a 15X7, but there are a whole bunch of people out there that are running them.

It's a perfect size. Hell, plenty of us run 32x11.50 on the 15x7 wheels, and a few have run 33x12.50 on them.

Re: Is a 31x10.5 to large for a 15x7 stock rim?

I noticed in a thread somwhere on here a mention of adjustin the torsion bar in the front to raise it level with the back, and to have the guys at a shop adjust it. I know this is on the forum somewhere but can not find it, i think offroadx metioned it but like i said i searched and could not find the post.

So i think i would be correct to think if doing so i need an alignmet? This wont be a be a problem because i need an alignmet anyways, which i plan on doing this weekend after replacing my tires.

Sorry i also didnt know which area to best place this question.

Yup, you would need an alignment. Any change to the front suspension almost always needs an alignment.

It's called the poor man's lift. Crank the torsion bars and change the rear shackles. Should gain around an inch in the back and front.

Re: Is a 31x10.5 to large for a 15x7 stock rim?

Tynan's Nissan where I go will always include a torsion bar adjustment(ride height) in my alignment price. That's been nice to have whenever I've made modifications to the front end our on a new set of tires. I'm always creeping up a size everytime I replace the tires.
