1998 Drivers side outer CV joint leaking

I just put new front brakes on my 1998 villager with 99K on it. Noticed alot of grease flung about inside the wheel well, also noticed a "clunk" when shifting into drive.

I found the drivers side outer driveaxle CV joint torn. How long can I continue to drive it like this? Also does anyone have a simple procedure for replacing this driveshaft, where do I find one, how much or should I have a shop do it.

thanks in advance!

If the "clunk" is coming from that side, then I would suggest you change that axle As soon as possible......bad things can defintely happen!.........It can be changed (relatively straight forward) on a flat driveway or garage with, of course using the proper precautions...where----auto parts store; how much?----depends on the store, can range from $65-$80 + core charge.......shop? if you do not feel you can do it then you should take it to the shop...should take 30 min to 1 hour
