Across the Universe: A Beatles Musical
So apparently I hear Across the Universe has gotten pretty bad reviews or something... fuck that. I just went to see it today, and it was really good, especially for a Beatles fan. The story is kinda mushy, so its great to bring a date, but really its still well written and performed. If you don't like musicals, well, this is still a little different, although there's still the partially homosexual looking dances done by nobodies to add 'drama' but, honestly, the movie really did rock.
I say: GO SEE IT!

Yeah, I agree. It's not anything special, but if you enjoy the Beatles it's something you won't want to miss. Not only are the songs sung by the cast, but the music is an entirely new composition.
