MK 3 Golf front suspension bush replacement
My 1997 Golf just sailed through the MOT but there was an advisory - rear bushes on front suspension arm are worn and could do with replacing.
Anyone changed these before and can advise me ? It looked like a simple job but the bolt seems to be an awkward size - 18mm and it looks like the bush housing will need to be pressed out of the suspension arm with a special tool, so I guess the whole arm will need to be removed to allow this.
