Rattling sound from the brake booster.

I have been hearing a rattling sound coming from the brake booster. It is louder when I remove my foot from the brakes. I am at the time to change the pads and discs so I was wondering I for some reason I will have to change the booster due to some malfunction.

Re: Rattling sound from the brake booster.

I tested the vaccume on the booster today and it seems in normal range and the master has plenty of fluid. Yet this noise is so loud I can hear it through the dashboard.

Re: Rattling sound from the brake booster.

Rattling is not good.
This may be a safety issue.
It would be best to have a good repair shop look at it.
Good Luck
