hey everyone.. i have a question about our intakes. my 90 teg will not past smog in cali and its mainly because of the modified intake on my teg and the guy i bought the car from didnt give me the factory intake. my question is are all the cai intakes (the ones off ebay and everywhere else) legal intakes for california?? i dont know nything bout intakes really or if there legal everywhere or not..

the only legal intakes in the state of cali are the ones that have a serial number on them like k&n and AEM not those little shoddy knockoffs you buy at autozone trust me i use to smog cars and whenever we see a modified intake first thing we look for is that serial number and whenever the s\n isnt present its automatic fail so either buy one from K&N or AEM or the alternative go to jusnk yard and find the factory intake
