backflush 00 malibu 3.1

just bought a 00 Malibu and see the coolant tank is yucky the coolant has not been properly matained so I need to flush it out - a drain and refill won't do -

so where is the best blace to put a flush and fill connection.

I have done this on olderFord's & Chevy's but the heater hose was accessable but on this car the heater hoses are accessed under the car between the engine and fire wall (same as the 1990 Cavalier) and that is to much trouble so there has to be an easier access point (I hope) so any suggestions will be appreciated.

Goodyear's or an auto shop. Don't waste your time trying to fix that gunk. And then fill it with the 5 year green stuff that is interchangable.

If the coolant looks bad and the intake manifold gaskets have not yet been changed on that 2000, I'd get the gaskets changed, remove and clean the overflow bottle and do a cooling system flush. Dexcool was never the problem. Bad IMG are.
