Question 2002 Headlight adjustment.

Hello, Does anyone know how to adjust the headlights for a 2002 Xterra SE ?? I looked in the owners manual to see how to do it, and it says to see your local dealer. You got to be kidding me !! See my dealer to adjust the headlights........ Please Help.

I moved your question out of the parts forum and into a more appropriate one.

I don't have a 2002, but typically there are adjusting screws on headlights at the top and side that you can access from the front of the light. You might have to remove the plastic facia though.

The screws have an anti-tamper feature on them as I recall. Last time I was poking around that area it didn't seem particularly easy. Then again, I was trying to remove the entire bucket to get at one of the grille retainer clips.
