Hello Everyone, my name is tommy and im the creator of wheelsdatabase.com. Its been a year long project thats finally coming together. As a car enthusiast who visits many forums i was frustrated with finding threads like "what does x wheel look like", "what is the weight of x wheels", "what wheels should i get".

Another roadblock for wheel tech information was the very outdated wheel database provided at wheelweights.net. While it is a great resource it takes years to download the pdf as well as a super computer just to be able to actually find the wheel your looking for.

This is why http://www.wheelsdatabase.com was born.

I have created one place for car enthusiast to submit new wheels and brands in catalog style formating. Each wheel has linking codes so the user can link directly to the wheel as well as link to the images all from the forums. No more broken photobucket images any longer. Bare with us while our database is small its growing each day.

Finding a way to record wheel weight data was really tough since there is no definite database for the exact information. We took a different approach and added optional fields to help confirm the data such as source and date submitted so we know if the data is up to date or not.

One of my favorite features is the ability to suggest a similiar wheel. I thought of this myself btw.

Not all car owners can afford the latest and greatest wheels so this feature help list wheel replicas that look similiar and may cost less.

There are many more features planned for wheelsdatabase.com but those are currently in the works.

Most of the bugs have been ironed out and now im looking to get some feedback from other car owners on ways to improve the website.

If theres any suggestions you may have negative or positive feel free to let me know. Your feedback would be greatly appreciated.
