Warm Welcome for Iranian President

I see Iran's President Ahmadinejad (i'm a mad jihad) got a nice welcome in the U.S. What does he expect.

Quote:

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad clashed with an American university president who called him a "petty and cruel dictator" at a forum on Monday where Ahmadinejad criticized Israel and the United States and said Iran was a peaceful nation.

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is to speak before the United Nations on Tuesday, a day after he challenged a university audience to look into "who was truly involved" in the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad will speak before the United Nations General Assembly on Tuesday.

In appearances Monday, the firebrand Iranian leader also defended his right to question established Holocaust history and denied there were gay Iranians.

It's true. There probably aren't any gay Iranians- because they are put to death in disgustingly cruel ways.

Re: Warm Welcome for Iranian President

From what I see serious enough to give him a speaking forum. But you have to realize the more he speaks the more he sounds like a nutbag or madman.

The media and the talk shows are having a field day with him.

BTW - His comment having having no homosexuals in Iran like we have in the U.S. is insane. The executions are proof of that. What an idiot!!!.

and that's kinda why you have to give these the guys the forum once in a while.
if you don't, all you do is give them more ammunition.
for the most part, people aren't stupid and as long as the things he says are heard by all, there is more chance of more people to see what things he says. Letting them speak isn't the same as endorsing their message. I remember once when Blair outright refused to shake Mugabe's hand and it's these sort of small things that show more than simply saying "no".
