Intake swap from another Civic?

My friend just bought a 1997 Civic Si with a manual transmission. My other friend just recently wreaked his 95 Civic sedan and is selling what performance parts he had on it. Among which is an intake. My friend with the new Civic wants to buy the intake from the 95 but is unsure if it will fit on his car. Are the intake setups on the two cars close enough?

PS: We dont know what kind of engine the 95 sedan has but I think i remember it being a 1.6 16v

Re: Intake swap from another Civic?

Are you talking about intake manifold or just air intake (the end part of it with a filter)?

Re: Intake swap from another Civic?

It should fit...if not you can use custome hoses and clamps to fix.
