Ferrari F430

Hi all, thought I would post a couple pics of my Revell F430. The paint is a not-so-smooth Tamiya Camel Yellow. I used the revell Focus racing seats, but otherwise its boxstock. I painted the rims Metallizer aluminum plate with Tamiya black spokes, I think it helps set off those red calipers.

I had a lot of assembly problems, nothing went the way it should. So many, that I was hesitant to start on my Revell SuperAmerica, but so far it has went together so much easier.

Re: Ferrari F430

It's an interesting color combo for a F430, I like it! I think you missed the grille though from the rear end around the ferrari badge, or is it purpose? Anyway, can you post outside pictures without flashlight? I would love to see some...

As for your fitment problems, I feel for you, my Revell F430 was the same, so I think it's not you. It's interesting, my Revell F430 spider was better so was my Revell Superamerica...

Re: Ferrari F430

Looks really nice in that yellow and the wheels suit it perfectly painted black.

Re: Ferrari F430

Looks good! Hopefully I'll get to start mine soon. Didn't think yellow would look that well on the 430 but you've made me like it

Re: Ferrari F430

Thanks for the compliments!

Yes the rear grill was left out because I didnt like the way the decal looked, and at the time I didnt have any mesh. I took those pics from under my car, it was starting to rain. I'll get some more when I take pics of my Superamerica this week.
